M5 JUNCTION 9 and A46 – PUBLIC CONSULTATIONGloucestershire County Council have contacted Kemerton Parish Council regarding potential route options as part of an improvement scheme at M5 Junction 9 and A46 through Ashchurch. 1.3 Members are encouraged to consider the pros and cons of the options proposed and consider how/if they would impact on Kemerton Village. 2.0 M5 JUNCTION 9 AND A46 ASHCHURCH 2.1 The scheme would provide a new M5 Junction 9a south of Tewkesbury and re-route a section of the A46 between the M5 and Teddington Hands roundabout. 2.2 The scheme aims to help solve long standing traffic issues and provide vital infrastructure to meet existing and future needs, including improving journey times and reliability for journeys between the M5 Junction 9 and Teddington Hands roundabout.
